Our new school building

Plans for the new Primary building were submitted to Medway Council in March, following a Public Consultation meeting held on 24 February 2016. The event was attended by local Councillors and members of the local community,

Subject to planning, work on the new building will start in summer 2016 with this due to open in summer 2017.

Our new building will support us on our journey to becoming an outstanding academy by serving the local community and providing places for pupils from ages 4 through to 11.

Throughout this new build project The Hundred of Hoo Academy will remain fully operational. We are fortunate to have a large academy site which can easily accommodate our current requirements as well as provide sufficient space for our new building.

We will be providing parents, pupils, staff and the community with regular updates on how the project is progressing. We also hope to be able to provide opportunities for people to visit the site on key milestones, such as when work first begins on the site, and as the building goes up.

In the meantime, click here for the latest artist impressions of the school and take a virtual tour of the new building.
