EYFS Nativity - Da Vinci Class
On Wednesday the 13th of December, Da Vinci class presented their annual Nativity to teachers, parents, family members and governors. Our youngest pupils displayed a number of exemplary characteristics: resilience, independence, confidence and determination were just a few of the skills evident during the production.
Pat Sanford, one of our Academy Governors, attended and conveyed her delight that pupils had crafted the play themselves and were fully involved in the script and the stage directions. This key learning contributes to their success towards achieving the Good Level of Development. A special mention goes to our Year 12 pupil, Jay Bowman, who has been fully supportive of the teachers and pupils, extending his help to prepare pupils in the days and weeks before the final production. Thanks must of course go to Miss Kunaseelan and her team who worked tirelessly to ensure that the production was a success.
Miss Brading, our Head of School for the Primary phase, exclaimed that the Nativity was ‘worthy of the West-End!’ further highlighting the excellent acting, beautiful singing and clear enjoyment had by all of our budding actors. Finally, thank you to all parents, who we know must have worked hard with pupils to ensure that all lines were learnt and practised to perfection!
